Junior Agriculture

The community First junior agriculture program promotes the most environmentally friendly and sustainable agricultural practices in schools. By growing vegetables on the school site through a community garden, we are able to train students and adults alike. This is where our team of agricultural specialists will carry out their introductory training.

The school garden provides all the necessary ingredients for three nutritious meals for all the students throughout the week. Women in the village volunteer to cook the food that our training program produces, and rice can be purchased by selling some of the produce from the garden.
